It must be a revelation for parents and enable them to support their child appropriately.

As an educationalist I am impressed wih your observations and early identification of the child's needs. To aid these students to overcome their difficulty in sequencing, you have adopted an educational method that breaks down difficult concepts into bit sized chunks and have made learning more manageable. Then you have built upon the basics to enable them to grasp more difficult concepts. It is a logical progression and eventually they are able to see the whole.
It is a method that progresses the students learning from simple to complex and concrete to abstract.
In teaching about time, allowing students to handle the clock and breaking them down into sections also enhance learning, makes it relevant and meaningful. Hence they retain that knowledge which is transferred to the long term meory and easily retrieved as required.

It really takes a lot of patience to achieve that and is commendable.
Excellent work and do keep it going as many parents will be grateful.

JaseAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2929940323242620649.post-17288375835217399702010-03-01T23:11:30.372+08:002010-03-01T23:11:30.372+08:00I like the approch. She does not seem to have a problem but the same approch can e used when teaching other concepts. I will use it when teaching about time. The concept has not fully jelled yet.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08591959695850955775noreply@blogger.com
