This is a temporary post here. This has nothing to do with dyslexia.
On 25.8.2024 The Edge reported that the KL sinkhole was caused by geographical factors, says DPM Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof. LINK
I knew that this was false and Tweeted as follows:
Where do these politicians come up with such nonsense? If what he says has even an iota of truth then we should cordon off Batu Caves.
I wondered why there were no responses except for one person from Sarawak.
This morning I received a notice from Twitter:
‘We’ve added a temporary label to your account which may impact its reach. Learn more.’
After my post on Twitter, I read the following article: LINK
The following is an extract of the said article.
In a statement, Associate Professor Dr. Meor Hakif Amir Hassan, Head of the Department of Geology at UM’s Faculty of Science, debunked the story.
“The department emphasises that there is no geologist named Sarah Jamal serving at the University of Malaya.
Furthermore, there is no geologist named Sarah Jamal registered in the list of the Board of Geologists Malaysia,” he said, clarifying that no geologist by the name of Dr. Sarah Jamal—who was said to have unearthed this shocking discovery—exists at UM.
Can’t our politicians think?
Many sinkholes occurred in Sabah. Is this due to geological factors or due to the erroneous laying of drain/sewerage pipes?
Why did it take about 60 years for the first sinkhole at Masjid India to occur?
Why did the second sinkhole at Masjid India occur within 1 year of repair of the sinkhole last year?
Who was awarded the contract?
Who was the contractor who repaired the sinkhole?
How much was the contract fee?
How much was paid to the contractor who did the job?
Who complained to Twitter to flag my account?
Here are photos/articles on sinkholes.

July 2023 A water source was seen bursting through the ground, eroding a huge portion of the road. LINK
