Killed the Goose that laid the Golden Eggs

Those who are reading my posts are urged to read the above article. I have read it a few times while writing my next post and don’t see a connection between my post and David Boulton’s comment.

I believe that if what I have been suggesting all along is implemented then many of the geese that lays golden eggs will be killed.

There are remediation teachers who don’t like my posts just as much as the main actors of Children of the Code.

I just saw an article which is widely publicized in the internet. It says that Scientists have now found a physiological, and seemingly treatable, cause for dyslexia hidden in tiny light-receptor cells in the human eye.

They may subsequently say that remediation teachers who bring kids to grade level have discovered how to treat the eyes of such kids and are therefore able to now get them to grade level.

Just like scientists who had, some thirty five years ago, ‘discovered that phonological awareness deficit is the cause of dyslexia’ now they have discovered another ‘money spinner’. Now parents of kids who cannot read will have to spend money on yet another ‘cure’.

Please ask yourself if it is possible for 10% to 20% of kids in the world to have this problem.
