I know Stephen Parker is teaching phonics accurately. If phonics is taught the way he does then for sure there will be no kid disengaging from learning to read.

The Naïve educators


I have been diplomatic since 2010 and requesting educators to discuss my findings. I believe they are naive and do not understand what I have been saying or it is possible that they are working  with the big boys who are benefitting from the Dyslexia con.

It is now time to be direct and say what I want to say the way truth should be told.

I quote what Dr.David Boulton had written in my LinkedIn post in 2017.

“I have been bombarded over the years with people 'certain' that if only their way was adopted (spelling reform to instructional method) everyone would be great readers. I don't have the time or interest in being the object such people want to stroke themselves with. I am clear and on the record for decades re what is the reason children struggle to read English. If as you say you have been through my work you'd know that I appreciate that you help people. I don't want to engage further with you. I am not interested in being a platform for self-aggrandizing. I wish you all the best.”.

The Dyslexia Scam



I have taught more than 70 kids since 2004 on a one on one basis. Many of them were certified as dyslexic by some experts in Singapore and even from Australia.
After a few years of teaching, I realised that they were all shut down kids and did not fit into the dyslexia description on the internet.

I wrote one email in May and another in June 2018 and received the same reply stating that it was being passed to the relevant officers and that was the end. 

How do we expect the reading standards to improve with such attitude from the Education Department?

Phonics advocates keep saying that phonics is being taught in schools.

In fact, only a few schools, even in the UK, are teaching phonics the way it ought to be taught. Otherwise, the UK will not be no 14 in the PISA test and far behind China.

YouTube videos on why kids shut down from learning to read




Kids shutting down and kids being not fluent in reading are not synonymous. The roughly 20% who are classified as dyslexic are the kids I refer to as shut down kids. The dyslexia advocates simply classify them as dyslexic for their own benefit. From my research, I believe the number of kids who are dyslexic is less than one (1) % of the population.

The virus is called the Egona virus.
