Divide and Rule by the powers that be.

 


The powers that be are experts in ensuring that this policy of ‘Divide and Rule’ is in place.

The Reading War has been going on for decades and is now stronger than ever between the phonetics and whole word Apostles.

Exponents from both sides keep warring and will not stand to reason. Their minds are like the Human egg. When one sperm goes into the ovum the ovum does not allow another sperm to get in just like the minds of these exponents. 

I have been shouting at the top of my voice for more than a decade that many children will shut down/ disengage from learning to read but there are evil forces that keep asking me, where is the evidence; where is the research report; where is the data?

What if there are no research reports? Can’t these so-called educators think? What has happened to sense that is supposed to be common?

I have repeatedly quoted Thorndike and his theory about early learning. We can join the dots of Thorndike’s Theory to what Charlie Munger said about the human mind being like the human egg. Here is a LINK to the importance of early input as theorised by Thorndike.

Why don’t these so-called educators on Twitter and elsewhere on Social Media understand the impact on kids being wrongly taught at the early stages of their life?

Almost all kids who have been taught the wrong sounds represented by letters are confused. They don’t understand how buhahtuh sounds out the word bat. Fortunately, a majority of such kids figure out how reading works on their own. The SoR exponents such as Emily Hanford and Kareem Weaver will try and convince the world otherwise. Most educators focus their attention on kids who can read despite being taught the sounds represented by letters wrongly. What about the millions of kids who disengage from learning to read and are then wrongly classified as dyslexic?
