CCP education in peril (Part 1)

Education remains a priority of nations. The development of any society is based on its education system.

In my recent post, Maggie Chiang asked: ‘Is there a fundamental issue of Education?’

In my post about the above on Facebook, a friend said that China is too busy stealing and copying and that it has no time for its research and development.

I would agree with him. I have done research on the fundamental issue of education in China. Pinyin is taught wrongly not only in China but the Chinese have corrupted the teachers in Sabah too. I have reported this to authorities in China and they have not responded. LINK

A Chinese friend, Tan Nai Seng retorted, ‘Go back to American kindergarten’.

I would ask China to go to kindergarten and teach the kids the correct Pinyin.

A Facebook Chinese friend Lee Kee Hong said, ‘You don't understand the concept of FACE’.

My Chinese friends don’t realise that China’s education is being screwed. Are the Chinese in China and Malaysia shutting up and accepting the education screw-up because of FACE saving or because of gross stupidity?

The Chinese have learned well from the Americans – They don’t reply when they don’t have an answer. They sweep matters under the carpet.

Here is an extract from my email to Purple Culture which has its headquarters in Hong Kong and Beijing.  

China did away with zhuyin fuhao (bopomofo) and introduced pinyin. Pinyin is not to be taught using the sounds as in bopomofo. The sounds of consonants should be taught without extraneous sounds. Your sound files say 'as in English' but the sounds are as in Bopomofo. LINK
